Indications For Patient Referral
Your patient may benefit from The Center for Wound Healing
and Hyperbaric Medicine, if he or she has:
-
Any non-healing wounds that have not shown improvement
in 3 to 4 weeks

Any wounds involving tendon, ligament, bone, or joint
-
Any neuropathic /diabetic ulcers
-
Wounds in ischemic limbs
-
Any wound, and is immuno-compromised
-
Any wound that is painful and has been present for at
least 3 weeks
Referring physicians are kept informed
and involved in the patient’s regimen:

The Wound Center communicates with the primary physician
through referral letters, healed letters, and phone calls.

The Wound Center focuses on the wound and its etiology.
-
The Wound Center and primary
physicians collaborate to provide the best treatment
for patients and their
wounds.
